First Big Road Trip!

A few weeks ago... (Editor's Note: we know we're very delinquent on updating the blog lately, but The Little Man, as he's come to be called, has kept us very busy and entertained! No promises, but we'll try to keep up-to-date from now on). As I was saying, a few weeks ago, we all took a car trip up to central PA to visit Katie, Nevin, Grant (and baby Sassaman #2, still in Katie's belly!), Jon, Missy and the Hummel clan for the weekend. It was a pretty easy trip for young Everett - we stopped once each way to eat, and otherwise he was a well-behaved little sleeper. Denee had a fun shopping trip to the mall with Katie and Everett, Ryan hung out with Nevin and Grant, and then as always we had a great meal at the Hummel homestead. It was great for Everett to meet his parent's Penn State "family" - Jon, Katie and Nevin have been very close friends since we all experienced the greatness that was Happy Valley at the turn of the century.
Since we were there, Katie and Nevin welcomed new baby Ian Arthur Sassaman into their family. Congrats, guys!
