23 Months Old!

It is so hard to believe that our little guy will be 2 in a few short weeks and he is very much turning into a little man! It is unbelievable how much he is growing, changing, and doing just over the past few months. Here, along with a few pictures, are some of the things Everett is up to at 23 months old:

• Talking up a storm! He still jibbers quite a bit, but a lot of that is starting to turn into sentences. His new favorite phrase is "I want ____" and inserts anything he can think of at the end. The other day at lunch time it was everything ranging from "I want a pickle" to "I want eggs"...he won't even touch eggs!
• Repeats EVERYTHING! Denee answered a question with "Probably." and Everett repeated it...definitely need to continue to watch what we are saying!
• Climbs EVERYTHING! Except his crib (knock on wood - we are keeping him in there as long as possible). He's a very good/confident climber, but it means there is nothing out of reach for him.
• Knows all of his letters and numbers through 10. He can say them in order (while skipping a few here and there), but his favorite thing to do is point out letters and numbers that are written down and saying what they are.
• Favorite toy continues to be the iPad, but he is really into puzzles, drawing, and playing with his cars/trucks. "Yabba" (aka Yo Gabba Gabba) continues to be his favorite show but we are branching out to Mickey Mouse ("Ma Mocks" or "Mickey"), Chuggington ("Choo Choos"), and Super Why.
