18 Months!
Happy half birthday to our main man, Everett! He turned 18 months on September 1st - he continues to grow and grow and amaze us every single day. We made a visit to Dr. K - his last one until he's 2 years old (I can't believe I just wrote that!) - and he is 35 1/4 inches tall (98th percentile) and 26.2 lbs. (53rd percentile). He of course didn't love the shots, but still gave Kim, Dr. K's nurse, a high-five (one of his favorite things to do) amid tears post shots. He is one silly little man. Here is just a glimpse at what he is up to these days:
- Loves to: give high-fives and kisses (for being a not so snuggly baby, he is becoming a very loving kid - which we, of course, love)
- Favorite toy: Mom and Dad's iPad (you'd think it was his)
- Favorite food: hard to say, but fruit and milk are way up there on the list
- Favorite activity: listening to music and dancing (the kid is a dancing machine - we need to catch his sweet moves on video and post it on the blog soon) and playing with buckles on car seats, strollers, the Ergo, you name it - if it has a buckle, he will play with it until he buckles it
E continues to nap and sleep really well - knock on wood, don't want to jinx us! - even starting to sleep until 8am and sometimes 8:30am over the past week or so. He is starting to say a lot of words and continues to jibber away - his sentences and questions are definitely becoming more defined as he'll repeat the same phrase several times, but we still have no idea what he's saying...I'm sure we will soon.
