Two Oceans Down, Three to Go

We all took a trip out to Portland, OR for our annual company conference, and the Driscoll's joined us to watch Everett and visit with Jamal's brother Yassine, whose wife Erica was due with their first child. While Denee and Ryan were working each day, Denny and Pat had some good walks around Portland, visiting the Rose Garden, the Riverwalk, and of course, Everett Street!

Here's a pic of the Driscoll's with Yassine and Erica (and Everett!). While we were there things started to happen and baby Farah was born the day after we left!

Everett's such a good traveler! He stayed on Eastern time for the 5 day trip on the Oregon Trail, and although his bags didn't make the trip home (none of ours made the connection in Denver... c'mon Southwest), the trip was uneventful other than that. Let's hope he doesn't get used to that 4am breakfast in bed everyday though!

Here's a pic of the Wolf posse in front of an ocean cliff at Cannon Beach. Wow, what a view! Put this on Everett's IMDB page: this was the beach where the pirate ship from Goonies broke out into the ocean at the end of the movie!!
